Singaporean chili chicken


If you like blazing hot chicken recipes, then you'll love to try this Singaporean chilled chicken . The cooking process is a bit close to our Pakistani version of Chilly Chicken, but the flavour of this Singapore Style Chilly Chicken is totally different. The Chilly Chicken is incredibly sweet. 

 I adapted this Singaporean Chilli Chicken Recipe from Chinese Kung Pao Chicken with a Spicy Tongue that is one of the best Singapore dishes I've ever eaten.


Ingredients:

Quantity:

Chicken breasts  

4 pieces

Garlic (finely cut)

4 cloves

Corn Flour

3 Table Spoon

White vinegar

2 Table Spoon

Soya Sauce

3 Table Spoon

Green Chilies (finely cut lengthwise )    

12 pieces

Sugar

1 Tea Spoon

Salt

To Taste

Oil

6 Table Spoon

Sesame oil

1 Tea Spoon

Garlic (with skin)

4 cloves

Black peppercorns

4 to 6

water

3 cup


Method:

Step#1:
Take Chicken, Garlic (with Skin), black peppercorns and water. Put them all into a pot and cook for 30 minutes.

Step#2:

After this, remove from flame and cut chicken into long stripes.

Step#3:

Strain the other things, store and set aside. .

Step#4:

Marinate chicken with soya sauce, vinegar, sugar, corn flour and salt for 10 minutes.  

Step#5:

Now heat 4 table spoon oil in a woke and add garlic (finely cut).

Step#6:

Fry till it turns golden. And add chicken pieces and stored things and cook till things dried up.

Step#7:

Heat remaining oil in a frying pan and lightly fry green chilies. And add into chicken.

Step#8:

Now drizzle sesame oil on top.

Step#9:

Delicious Singaporean chili chicken is ready to serve.
